What is the OBD2 device and how it works? In short: this is a device that contains a Microchip's chip with built-in flash memory. This memory contains a three-dimensional table of values, called the ignition map. It contains information defining the boost pressure, the dosage of fuel injection, ignition angle, injection time - depending on a numerous of current parameters, ie. The supply air temperature, current density of the air, engine speed, throttle position and many others.

By connecting the device we will modify this map and receive in return more power, and torque increase. The device was developed based on three main consumers demands. The need to create an easy-to-use Plug & Play device.

The requirement to develop technology of bypassing the ECU blockade (Anti-Tune) imposed by the ECU's producers without losing any vehicle warranties. The desire to replace a permanent and expensive remaping much cheaper and effective solution. What effect it has for the driving dynamics? OBD chip is designed for both manual and automatic gearboxes. In both cases, after you connect the device increases torque.

Please read the entire manual before installation. Please make sure your car is off and all electrical components are in the OFF position. Make sure the ignition is in the OFF position and any device such as car radio, navigation, air conditioning, interior lighting, etc. Connect the black 9-pin plug connector into the appliance.

The kit among the device contains also the connection cord. Plug the cord into the appliance with a relevant plug (D-Sub). Use screws to secure the plug connection with the device. The plug at included cord is equipped with two mounting screws. Use them to attach it to the device.

This will secure the connection and prevent accidental disconnection during operation. Locate your car's OBD2 port.

The OBD2 diagnostic port can be usually find at the driver's side, under the steering wheel column. If you have any difficulty with finding of the connector, please use'OBD locations' diagrams placed further in this manual. Connect the device's OBD2 (16-pin) connector to the diagnostic port in the car. LEDs on the device should glow. This means that the chip is properly connected.

Turn the key to the ON/AAC (ignition) position but do not start the engine yet! Turn the ignition, key have to be in the position before the start, lights will glow on the dashboard. Remember to not to start the engine!

Locate a small hole in the top of chip casing. Use a thin object to press the reset button located on the circuit board underneath.

Press and hold reset for 3 seconds. Start the engine and begin riding with the device!

From that moment the device starts to adjust to the parameters in the car. This stage can last from 100 to 150 km (depending on the vehicle). There's no need to drive over this distance at once (in one section). After the device will adjusts to the vehicle, the difference in performance should be felt instantly.

Please note that the chip is programmed to one type of fuel. Connecting the device to the vehicle powered by other type of fuel than intended may damage the chip box!

Make sure that the device is connected to OBD2 diagnostic connector in the car. LEDs on the device should to glow / blink. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON/AAC (ignition) position but do not start the engine yet! The whole process of resetting the device is completed. After the reset, the device is ready to cooperate with the car.

You can turn the key in the ignition and start the car. Before installing the module, please make sure that the OBD2 connector in the vehicle is not damaged and free from any contamination or moisture.

The device is designed exclusively for typically cars (operating on 12V DC instalation)! Chip does not fit trucks and tractors. Be sure to perform the first installation of the device when it is expected route at least 50 kilometers.

During this time device will be in the adaptation phase, which will allow for a better fit to the car. Make sure that your car and all its components are in very good condition. Before connecting the device, we recommend replacement of filters and oils. After unplugging the device the car's ECU will return to its factory settings. A: Yes, the chipbox need to be constantly connected to the OBD2 interface during exploitation. Q: When I went to the service I had to unplug the device.

Will I need to reset it? A: There's no need. The device has a built-in flash memory, where the parameters are saved. If the device is disconnected, eg. A month or longer and the car has been in continuous operation at this time it is recommended to reset the Box so that it can once again fit into the vehicle.

Q: Despite I turn off the car the LEDs on the device continues to glow. Could this discharge my battery? There is no danger for the discharging the battery.
